What do we love?
Lebanese people are known for their warm and welcoming nature, often treating guests as part of the family. And in the case of our partners, this is exactly what they have done with Syrian refugees.
What are the challenges?
Children with refugee status lack equal rights and access to education. After the trauma they have experienced, not having rights to education is unimaginably disheartening.
What are our partners doing?
In Lebanon, our partners are running a Syrian refugee school located in the heart of Beirut. Our dedicated partners established this school several years ago, and we are now able to support the education of over 100 Syrian refugee children in Lebanon. With the support of CRY among others, they have been able to sustain exceptional standards of education to give the children the chance to go beyond poverty and refugee status, despite the start to life they’ve had.
What can you do?
