My Role in Ongoing Conflicts

Pray:

At CRY, we believe in the power of prayer. Pray for peace in the world, for the children and innocents caught in the crossfire, for the leaders making critical decisions, and for those on the ground providing support, aid, and comfort to those who are suffering. Here is a helpful resource from our friends at 24/7 prayer.

Donate:

In armed conflicts, vulnerable civilians, especially children, suffer the most. They desperately need support, care, and assistance, which can be provided through humanitarian agencies, local churches, or even educational institutions. To operate, these organisations need resources and funding, especially during times of war. At CRY, we support partners in conflict zones (internal or international) in Lebanon, Haiti, Ukraine, South Sudan, Gaza & the West Bank, the Democratic Republic of Congo, North Nigeria, Burkina Faso, Afghanistan, Iraq, and Myanmar. All these partners need our help, and we can only support them through people’s generosity. Please consider donating to a charity you trust or to CRY - Here.

Advocate:

Your voice matters. Proverbs 31:8-9 states: 'Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy.' You can make a difference by speaking to your local authorities or members of Parliament, signing petitions, and engaging with your church leaders, schools, universities, or even workplaces.
